An area courtroom on Tuesday granted common bail to Aam Aadmi Celebration’s Gujarat unit chief Gopal Italia after he surrendered earlier than the police in a case associated to illegal meeting and a combat throughout a public assembly attended by the occasion’s MLA from Delhi, Atishi.
Italia was granted the common bail by the courtroom of further chief metropolitan Justice of the Peace RB Marfatiya on a bond of Rs 10,000.
An FIR was registered in opposition to Italia and three others with Gujarat College police station in Ahmedbabad final month beneath sections 332 (voluntarily inflicting harm to public servant), 143 (illegal meeting), 146 (violence by an illegal meeting), and 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code, AAP’s authorized cell head Pranav Thakkar mentioned.

Three different accused had earlier surrendered earlier than the police and had been granted bail by courtroom.
Italia’s anticipatory bail plea was rejected by a classes courtroom, after which he moved the Excessive Courtroom.
After coming back from Delhi, Italia surrendered earlier than Ahmedbabad police on early Tuesday morning, following which he was produced within the metropolitan courtroom, Thakkar mentioned.
