The Telangana authorities on Monday issued orders offering 10 per cent reservation to the economically weaker part (EWS) in instructional establishments and state authorities jobs, in step with the Central authorities tips.
“Authorities, after cautious consideration of the matter, have determined to implement 10% reservation to the Economically Weaker Part for admissions into all instructional establishments within the State and in addition in respect of preliminary appointments to the posts in providers below the State, following the standards and tips prescribed by the Authorities of India,” a authorities order (GO) mentioned.
Crucial amendments to guidelines and tips on this regard shall be issued by the final administration division and training division individually, it mentioned.
The Telangana authorities has determined to implement the quota within the state practically two years after the Centre introduced 10 per cent reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in authorities jobs and academic establishments.
As of now, 50 p.c reservations are being carried out for the weaker sections within the State. With 10 per cent reservation to the EWS, the reservation proportion will go as much as 60 per cent, in accordance an official launch.
